Peace and quiet. As for the above question, we were only there one night but plan to return to enjoy more of what they have to offer.
Would love to have a pool.
Location almost at coast line in the midst of the forest is perfect. It is near to Acadia National Park and scenic places like Camden and Belfast. The bungalows offer cozy New England feeling and quality for up to 4 people and are fully equipped with a kitchen.
It was a nice break from a hotel. Lots of room and a nice outdoor setting.
Would have liked more cleaning services. They only take the trash and give you towels. They dont come back if you need want to sleep in.
The cottage was cozy yet roomy. The kitchen had enough to do some basic cooking
Ruining the hot water produced a sulfur smell that was unpleasant..
For cabin facilities, they were really nice. I thought we were closer to the water from their picture, but you have to go to the Summit for that view. Either walking or riding the top of the Summitt is breathtaking.
Rustic feel, hiking trails, view from summit, and great wi-fi .
Cabin not the cleanest and uncomfortable living room furniture.
Location, great cabin, it is a stove though, Not a fireplace! But everything was very nice.
I would have liked a lounge and dinner.
Booked a king cabin and was bumped down to a queen cabin because of overbooking. I was never called nor emailed about this. Was also charged the same rate as the king... no price break was given. When I disputed the charge I was told it was still a great discount! Asked to talk to a supervisor... none available. Called when I returned home and was told she had a meeting and would call me back when done... never called. Finally got in touch with the manager who agreed to knock a few bucks off. Cabins were very close to each other, food from previous renter still in frig., toilet was dirty, bed felt like a pullout sofa, squirrels (?) running through the ceiling throughout the night... very disappointing. Never again...
I like that you can rent a cabin for a family at a reasonable price and not have to commit to a week as with most other cabin or house rentals. It has everything you should need. I like the grounds, it is quiet but offers plenty of amenities.
the pillows are to hard and thick - I would bring my own next time.
tremendous facility and property
Nicely located in the woods with huge territory and trails . We enjoyed our stay, having nice trip to Acadia Park and excellent sport facilities.
The location is good; away from town and traffic. The cabins are nice with heat/cooling controls in each room. The cabins are situated so that each feels private. We enjoyed the hiking trails. It was nice to have a kitchenette.
Check-in was later than stated on our booking contract. Be aware that checkout time is 10 A.M. -- earlier than we expected. You have to travel a bit to find places to eat. It's a nice place, but expensive. Rooms are very small, but to be expected for cabins.
The cabin was beautiful, the grounds were beautiful, everyone was very nice and helpful.
The pillows were rock hard
Cozy cottages - the nicest in which we have stayed. Very very clean and in good repair. We had a family emergency at home and had to cancel our last night on short notice, regarding which the office staff was very accommodating.
No complaints about the lodge/cottage at all. Shopping is at a bit of a distance but a gps made cross country meandering very pleasant.
Excellent !! The cabins were great! A nice treat from the typicall motel/hotel !! Loved the location, quietness! Will definitely be returning !
